With Kurt’s family originating from Zimbabwe he had the opportunity to develop a passion for the bush and its wildlife. From an early age he spent holidays hunting and fishing in remote wildernesses.

It was in these areas that he became passionate about safari life and photography. After school Kurt commenced his apprenticeship as a Professional Hunter in Zambia. It was during this time that he developed an avid interest in videography while filming client’s safaris. On these hunts he gained valuable experience both with the camera and as a hunter.
He then went on to become a fully licensed P.H and has hunted / filmed in Botswana, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

In 2005 he enrolled at a film school in Kwa Zulu Natal
South Africa where he completed a Diploma
in Filmmaking with five distinctions.

Kurt is a well liked, mature videographer who strives to create professional, personalized documentaries of his client’s safaris.

He will be an added bonus on any safari as being a hunter himself he truly understands hunting situations allowing him to capture the moment with precision that other non hunters would have missed.
